Next meeting in the Grundtvig Project takes place in Denmark.
Thursday May 31^st – Monday June 4^th 2012

We invite you to participate in the second international convention
in the international EU - Grundtvig project -the program for life-long learning

Organizer: Danish Association for Lifeenriching Communication (LivKom)

This convention will take place on the island of Funen (Fyn) in Denmark on a Danish Folk High School. This kind of schools are schools, where adult students lives and receive training in different subjects in shorter or longer time. “Folk High Schools” are founded by Nikolaj Frederik Severin Grundtvig, the Danish philosopher and priest who has given name to our international Grundtvig project!

Participants in this event will be

1) Grundtvig partners - co-ordinators of the organizing associations in Denmark,
Germany, Poland, Netherland and Turkey.

2) Participants in the Grundtvig project training groups

3) Other participants from EU interested in OST and NVC - and interested in meeting people from other countries!

All participants are invited to stay at the school, and all meals will be served on the school.

Main language is English. If you are weak in English, please bring someone who can translate, or talk with us, maybe we can find someone within our network.

Thursday May 31^st: (Only for partners and special interested)
15.00 – 17.30: Arrival for organizers and core members of the project groups from each country.
18.00 – 19.00: Common Dinner
19.30 –??    Introduction round and get-together.

Friday June 1^st:

8.00 – 9.00: Common breakfast.

9 – 11.30: Planning meeting for partner participants and organizers (Start with common singing)

And at the same time: Arrival for other participants.

12.00: Common lunch for everybody

13.00: Plenum meeting for all – welcome to the school -welcome round.

14.30 – 15.00: Break

15.00 – 17.30: Introduction to OST and OST-planning of evening session and sessions saturday morning.

19.00: Evening sessions

21.00: About Grundtvig – common singing and get together.

Saturday June 2^nd and Sunday June 3^rd

7.45 – 8.45: Breakfast

9 – 9.30 : Plenum with common singing and stories (Grundtvig traditional morning)

9.30 – 10.15: Plenum with practical and OST planning

10.20 – 11.50: Session 1

12.00: Lunch

13.30 – 15.00 : Session 2

15.15 - – 17.00: Session 3

Break

17.20 – 17.50: Plenum

18.00: Dinner

Saturday:

19.00: Evening session

20.30: Music and singing (bring your songs and instrument!)

Sunday:

19.00: plenum meeting – feedback, ending.

Monday:

(This part may take place on another place nearby)

8.00 – 8.45: Breakfast
9.00 – 11.45: Meeting (For Grundtvig partners/organizers)

At the same time departure for other participants

12.00: Lunch (Not included in price)

Practical information:

These prices are based on minimum 50 participants.

The final price can be adjusted (up!) if the number of participants will be less than 50.

The venue is Brenderup on the northern part of the island Funen.

Transportation:

International train to Odense or Middelfart.
Flight to Copenhagen. From airport direct train to Odense or Middelfart.
Bus or taxi from there – or some common pick-up.

There is no public busses Sunday evening.

Possibility for extending your stay!

Prices for accommodation for one person:

There are limited amount of each kind of rooms - first sign up have best chance to get your preferred choice

Members of Livkom will get a 200 DKK discount if signing up and paying in full latest 1st of may.  If you pay later, the membership discount will be 100,- DKK.

Meals cannot be deselected.

Meals are both vegetarian and non-vegetarian

We have room for maximum 80 participants.
